In 1999, Mtre Barbar obtained her Bachelor of Arts, majoring in History, at Université de Montréal. Her pursuit of knowledge continued with a Master's degree in Arts, also majoring in History, which she completed in 2001 at the same university.
After her Master's degree, Mtre Barbar decided to pursue Law at Université de Montréal, where she earned her Bachelor of Law in 2003, marking her entry into the legal field. In 2006, she became a licensed member of the Barreau du Québec, mainly focusing her practice in family law.
She later founded her own practice, Myrna Barbar Avocate et Médiatrice Inc., focusing on civil, commercial, family and contract law. Demonstrating her commitment to expanding her practice, Mtre Barbar pursued extensive training, culminating in her Accreditation of Civil, Commercial and Labor Mediation in 2012.
